Couple's Wedding Ring Workshop

Service Description

You will join me in my workshop in the heart of Bruges to handmake your own wedding rings together. Our handmade wedding ring workshop is a private session just for you as a couple, making this a truly intimate and romantic couple's experience! You will have hands on experience of forging, shaping and finishing your own handmade wedding rings...plus a great story to tell about your rings in the future! First you will choose from the many options to customise the width and feel of your rings. This could be slim and delicate rings or large chunky rings with a rustic handforged feel. You have the option to customise the inside of your rings with your own personal message. Maybe adding special dates,initials, names or a favourite place. The possibilites are endless and truly unique to your rings. Next you will hammer the metal into a ring shape. I will then solder each ring together while explaining the process of heating and joining the metal together. Your next step will be filing and shaping your ring; this is where you will start to create your own unique design, choosing the shape and feel of your wedding rings together. I will then show you how to add textures and markings to your ring if this is desired; this is your special ring and your time to indulge your creative side! The last step will be to choose the finish and polish; this could be highly polished to add some sparkle, satin finish or even a rough forged look to your ring. Finally you will have created your own wedding rings, handmade together in the heart of Bruges. Good to Know.... - This workshop includes; sterling silver to make your rings, snacks, soft drinks, pictures taken during your experience, ring boxes and polishing cloths. - If you have a specific design or style in mind for your wedding rings feel free to get in touch to discuss the possibilities, I am happy to work with you on designs ahead of the workshop. - Gold is an option for the rings - but will incurr an additional fee on top of the workshop pricing.
